Mission Statement
Community Partnership on Aging serves adults aged 60 and over living in South Euclid, Lyndhurst, Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, and Richmond Heights, Ohio. Mayfield Heights is home to more than 19,000 residents and over 29% of them are age 60 or above! Our goal is to promote independence, a healthy lifestyle, community involvement, and opportunities for personal growth for Mayfield Heights older adults. Our mission is carried out through planning, coordinating, and providing services that enhance the dignity, security, and overall well-being of the older adults in our communities. At CPA you can meet with a social worker to discuss your benefits, attend a community lunch at one of our member city community centers, participate in classes from exercise to creative writing, and volunteer to help out in the agency or in the community.
We are supported by funds from each of the above cities, Title III funds from the Older Americans Act of 1965 through the Western Reserve Area Agency of Cuyahoga County Department of Senior Adult Services, funding through the Health and Human Services Levy, donations, and foundation grants. We are fortunate to work with over 200 volunteers who contribute their time and effort.
A Letter from the Director
At Community Partnership on Aging, we believe that quality of life and a positive sense of well-being are improved when residents have access to opportunities to be engaged in meaningful, purposeful programs, volunteer work, and activities. That may mean different things for different people, but our staff will help guide you in ways to be involved with us that best suit your lifestyle. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our organization by exploring the website, reading our newsletter, or contacting one of our offices. We welcome your involvement and your feedback!
