2015 Unity Day Recap
Weather played a huge part in this year's Unity Days. Friday night was soggy, but the band was rocking. Backroads played to a nice crowd, as the weather allowed us to get in the entire night. Although it was a cool evening, the rides were packed, and food was being eaten. The bocce tournament was in full swing at the bocce courts.

Saturday brought about more fall like weather, and when it didn't look like we were going to open up, the weather again gave us a break. Both bands, the Escape Plan and East Wind performed. Jungle Terry brought smiles to many kids as usual, as did Dr. U R Awesome. What the weather did not allow, was for the fireworks to go off. We had to reschedule, which will be on Tuesday August 4th as a part of the National Night Out sponsored by the Mayfield Heights Police Department.

Sunday brought about even more bad weather, forcing us to cancel the parade. Our annual Run For Life 5K went off as scheduled. As the day unfolded, the weather was not cooperating with us and the Unity Days came to a unexpected early conclusion. The good news was that we extended the raffle for a few more days. Lots of people took advantage of that. The raffle was drawn on Thursday July 2nd, as was the Homemade wine contest - results below.

We hope that all that came out had a good time, and that everyone hopes that next year's Unity Days will be rain free.
